About Nannette

My interest in the subconscious mind started at age nine when my older brother arrived home from Miami University Swim camp with a booklet on Psycho-Cybernetics. After the first page I could not put it down. Within this booklet was an effective way to improve my swimming with my thoughts! I was hooked the fascinating world of the unconscious.

Since that time I've been a student and practitioner of tools that make a difference in people's lives. I spent time learning and practicing EFT, Reiki, Yuen Method and more. When it was time to decide on a major at the University I chose psychology since, certainly, I would be learning effective tools to help people break free of their mental chains, right?

After six years I graduated (with honors, I am a dedicated student) (ok, geek) and realized that with a bachelor's degree in psychology I would be qualified to flip burgers. So I decided to go for a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I was certain that I would get tools to help people.

A year into the program the class started to work with people from the community; this is called “practicum.” The people would come in for counseling, and we would be videotaped and get feedback from the teacher. Before our first session, the professor said that we should use "Cognitive Behavioral Theory" (working with surface thoughts, reframing reality).

The third person in, I saw an attractive 17 year old woman named Brandy, she was sitting across from me telling that she wanted to commit suicide. A friend of hers died of an overdose recently and her new stepfather had been verbally abusing her. I tried to think of what I could say, what I can do to help her. Showing her how to think different thoughts (Cognitive Behavioral Theory) would not alleviate her immediate pain.

Since I felt a deep connection with the tools from Carl Jung, I had her write down her dreams for the next week, I wanted to inspire her to do something that would keep her on the planet while I find out how to help her. At that moment I also realized that during the last year in the Master’s program, I had not picked up any tools that could help quickly and effectively.

After the session with Brandy I met with the teacher who was furious at me, “You were supposed to use Cognitive Behavioral Theory today!.” I asked him when we were going to learn tools and techniques that effectively help people make a difference in their lives. He stated that you don't learn that until you go out into your practice.

Really? I was dumbfounded. So all we're going to learn are statistics and theory, how to diagnose people and bill them? He said yes. I backed out of the Master’s program realizing that this degree was not going to give me what I wanted, which was tools to help people quickly and effectively.

I did the next natural thing and became a real estate agent. This was in Las Vegas during the boom, I enjoyed it and I did well in it. I learned to make a lot of money and learn to spend even more, and I met my husband. Life was good. One thing however was at the time I had a medical issue that I knew stemmed from emotions.

I searched for a solution, looking online, going to traditional and natural doctors and not getting any results. At one point I came across something called Neuro Linguistic Programming which looked fascinating. I had heard about it years before from Dr.Kam Yuen, my healing teacher from years before who is a 33rd generation Shaolin master. However it just didn't it didn't click at that time.

This time it did. I looked into NLP and applied what I learned, I used specific techniques for removing emotional baggage. Within six weeks the medical issue was gone! Something else I learned from studying NLP helped my relationship become more enjoyable, almost overnight. We had a good marriage, but I was carrying plenty of baggage.

At that point I realized that I now had effective tools for rapid change, THIS is what I had been looking for. I finally have tools to help people change their lives! I studied it obsessively, listening to all the audios I could and reading stacks of books on the subject. I worked on myself and with others, and then realized that I might as well get certified. This was a certificate worth earning. I wanted to go as far as I could and master this powerful system.

I became a Master practitioner and a Trainer of Neuro Linguistic Programming, and I've been helping people ever since getting over problems that in the past would just seem insurmountable. Most of my past clients feel that they experienced a “miracle.”

After I became certified and worked with many clients over the first two years, I integrated my earlier learnings to create a unique system that accelerates the NLP, a system that removes what I call Mind Pirates™. I am the Mind Pirate™ Elimiator, uniquely capable to fly tandem with you above your past and easily unchain you from what keeps you from an even more amazing life.
